Call for papers: European Watson IoT Continuous Engineering Summit

We’re currently calling for papers for the next Watson IoT Continuous Engineering Summit. After very positive feedback from the past two summits in the US, we are excited to announce a summit in Europe this year:

The event will deliver in-depth technical content for teams that engineer connected products and develop IT applications: solution architects, engineers, developers, testers, integrators, and managers. The summit is an opportunity to expand your knowledge and expertise in the latest technologies, trends, tips, and techniques through lectures, hands-on labs, and interaction with vendors in the solution center.

We particularly want to showcase real-world successes with Continuous Engineering or Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CE/CLM) solutions and the key factors for that success.

The call for abstracts closes on 7 March 2018, so don’t delay.

These summit tracks relate to the IBM Continuous Engineering and Digital Twin solutions:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Engineering: Advances in natural language processing for engineering artifacts and documents.
  • Development and Engineering Best Practices: Success stories, challenges, and solutions that help businesses achieve higher quality, faster time-to-value, and bigger returns on investment.
  • Model-based Engineering: Advances and best practices for implementing model-based engineering in systems and software development.
  • Requirements Management: Advances and best practices for requirements management in systems and software development.
  • Quality Management: Advances and best practices for software quality assurance, and system verification and validation.
  • Change and Configuration Management: Advances and best practices for improving collaboration and configuration management across the development lifecycle.
  • Deploying CE Solutions including Cloud: Patterns, guidance, and customer case studies from successful deployments of CE solutions.
  • Digital Twin: Innovative solutions and practices that use digital modeling and the digital thread to generate new value.

The summit includes these highlights:

  • 52 breakout sessions
  • Labs for hands-on learning
  • Industry roundtables
  • Super Women’s Group/Women in STEM luncheon
  • Solution center with partners
  • Special event at the Watson Internet of Things Experience Center
  • Voice of the customer (VoiCE) sessions that explore potential capabilities and new product roadmaps (under non-disclosure agreement)

Hope to see you there!
