The new IBM Common Licensing (ICL) 9.0.0.2 fixpack is more than just a routine maintenance release. It delivers key improvements in security and infrastructure compatibility, helping you run ICL more safely and efficiently.

Secure license data flow

This release strengthens the way license data is handled between the ICL server and clients:

  • Encrypted communication between the ICL server and clients (when your product starts using the latest ICL client library)
  • Improved system resilience by closing existing security gaps
  • Stronger protection against potential threats

Updated the software prerequisites

Security is the key focus area in this release. It includes updates to core technologies and several other component updates to address known security issues.
