What characteristics make for a good development toolset? Clearly the individual development tools themselves are a key component, but the rest of the story is important as well. How do the tools support the developer and their team? Can a tool work on its own? Can it work with other tools? The answers to these and related questions live in the “dark matter” – between the tools and inside the mind of the development team. The OSLC community is focused on this “dark matter” in order to better describe the problems, share solutions, and support the creation of good toolsets.
Please join me and the OSLC Steering Committee for an update on the latest in development tool integration on June 10, 2015 at 11am (ET). For those doing tool integration and using OSLC today, this is an opportunity to hear about recent updates and ask questions. For those new to OSLC, this webinar will provide several real life experiences of OSLC being used in a variety of industries.
If you are interested in contributing to the OSLC community, we have a place for you. There are opportunities to contribute code to the open source Eclipse project called Lyo. We have a need for architects who can contribute to a variety of OASIS OSLC specifications. OSLC experts are welcome to answer questions in our forum. For newcomers to OSLC, we appreciate seeing some of the creative integrations you’re working to build.
For more information on the event see our OASIS OSLC Community Update and register for the event.
