Just a quick plug for an upcoming event … In preparation for Innovate 2010 in June, IBM Rational is hosting an online jam, or brainstorming session, called IBM Innovate Jam 2010, March 30-April 1. The event is free, and all are invited to participate.

Several of the Jazz leads, including Erich Gamma and Dave Thomson, and other IBM strategists, including Grady Booch and Scott Ambler, will be co-hosting the Innovation Jam.

This online event is meant to bring together customers, partners, and our development teams to explore new ideas in an unscripted environment.  Over the course of the three-day event, participants will explore questions and ideas around agility, governance, process, teaming, and Cloud, for example. After the Jam, the team will harvest the ideas — some of which may shape the next generation of our products.

You can register for the Jam (free of charge) and drop in any time between 9 am to 9 pm next Tuesday through Thursday, March 30 through April 1.

There’s even a $$$ incentive: Jam participants are being offered a $300 discount to our upcoming user conference, Innovate 2010.
