Hi fellows,

we have a DOORS team, which extended DOORS for an easy start of RPE document generation.
The extension does the following:
- collects the needed infos (module, view, baseline ...) from where the user calls the extension
- create a .dsx with all those informations
- starts RPE with a given .dta and created .dsx

So it is very easy for the end user to create a report, even if he has no knowledge about RPE.

Is something similar possible with RPE document builder?
Instead of creating a .dsx create a url like
https://server.net/rpeng/runreport?reportdef=DOORS_Standard&module=foo&view=bar&baseline=REL1.3

Hi Georg,

Unfortunately we do not have such an API for document generation from document builder.

Could you raise an RFE at https://jazz.net/jazz04/web/projects/Rational%20Publishing%20Engine#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.newWorkItem&type=enhancement
