Performance with RQMExcelImporter

Mahari Hill (4861184230) | asked Aug 23 '16, 11:06 a.m.
All,

5.0.2 CLM ifix 14

I used to be able to import over 100 testcases, test suites, test scripts and it would take about 15-20mins. I just did 10 and it took 15mins. These are simple scripts that have about 5 steps.

Mahari,

We would need more details related to data and environment.
- Are you observing this performance difference between two versions?
- It also depends on the data you are using, do you have too many links in your data?
I would suggest to give try using latest version to check if it solves the performance problem.

Best regards,
Mehul

 Hi Mahari,

I meant to post this defect last week https://jazz.net/jazz02/web/projects/Rational%20Quality%20Manager#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=140685 which is possibly a defect Mehul is considering when he mentions links. It is fixed in 6.0.1 and as Mehul noted, you can use 6.0.1 or 6.0.2 Excel Import with 5.0.2

Thanks,
Brett
