Export and import from 1.0 to 2.0

Karen Steele (1.2k4139148) | asked Aug 06 '09, 8:31 a.m.
Can I assume that the instructions in the help file are specific to exporting say Oracle, DB2 etc ...

that being the case, I used the "alternate" method to replace the repositorydb directory structure from 1.0 into 2.0 ... bombed big time ....

Sorry folks but some of the instructions we're giving our are a little too vague and I consider myself well versed with these tools ...

anybody had success doing the export and import ?

Yes, this is a tested scenario and has been confirmed to work across multiple configurations.
You should be using repotools (command line db tool from Jazz) to do the export and import. It should be documented. If the documentation is lacking then please let us know.
