Change Database Server

Customer is using RRC, RTC and RQM.  All 3.0.1.2.

They need to move to a new Oracle server.  It will have the same IP host name as the old one.

Can we just use the Oracle tools to migrate the tables, or should we use the four repotools commands (-export)?  In both cases, is there additional work (e.g., index rebuild, etc.) that needs to be done?

Thanks, Gary

I would just use the Oracle tools for this.  It will be much faster.  Just make sure that the Jazz Team Server is down when exporting the database.  I'm not certain if re-indexing would be needed.
