Does RRDI need to be upgraded when moving to CLM 4.0

We are currently using RRDI v1 and CLM v3. We will be upgrading to CLM v4. Is it necessary to upgrade RRDI to v2?

Yes. CLM v4 would need RRDI 2. So if you are migrating RTC 3.x to RTC 4.x, you will have to migrate RRDI 102 to RRDI 2 as well.

note that RRDI must be upgraded first in the process of upgrading CLM and RRDI.

If RRDI cannot be upgraded after CLM, can we make a fresh installation of RRDI 2.0 before CLM installation & retain the old RRDI data.
In this case, how to:
  • using same RICM db.
  • will upgraded RIDW Db be compatible with RRDI
  • import report package.
  • Any deviation from installation proc mentioned in 4.0.2 infocenter.

Our current versions: CLM 3.0.1.1; RRDI 1.0.2

Target versions: CLM 4.0.2; RRDI 2.0.1
