IBM RQM Vs HP QC
We have our Testing in HP QC/QTP and requirements, defects are managed using IBM Rational tools. I would like to know if there are any companies out there with similar structure and what are their transition plans about going towards to RQM? RFT is a long way to go with automation and the leader in automation is HP QC/QTP, so what are others thinking about the new set of IBM Jazz tools and are they moving to IBM RQM for testing.
We started looking at the new jazz tools like RRC, RTC & RQM from a Beta perspective.
My Questions are
1. How can we implement RQM with existing scripts in QC/QTP. Is there a good transition plan with IBM and can we take a risk to migrate the scripts from QC/QTP to RQM.
2. Are there any companies out there who made this kind of transition to RQM from QC/QTP.
3. Is RQM stable enough and can it support the activities that QC supports?
4. Is there anyone who came across recent forrester research on what the market suggests about HP QC/QTP and IBM RQM.
5. If we use Requirements, Defects using Jazz and stay with HP Mercury QC/QTP, what are the options from a CLM perspective?
These are some of the many questions that I am trying to find out and it will be good to know what other companies are doing out there from IBM RQM Vs HP QC standpoint.

Our organization is currently trying to migrate from QC to RQM. I'll be happy to speak with you offline to discuss the unresolved issues we currently have with the data migration.

Hi Tina,
We are also currently trying to migrate from QC to Rational Tools RQM and CQ. We have a few problems still pending like migrating test Case attachments from QC to RQM.
Can you please provide some solutions and better ways for migration if you have already in place.
you can contact me or send details at teja32@gmail.com
Thanks in advance
