A customer has reported that the performance of RTC (and many other non-IBM applications) degrade over time when they use IE8 on WindowsXP. Has anyone else noticed this - and found any setting tweaks that help?

So I did a bit of searching (given this appears to be an IE problem and not directly related to RTC as such) - and found some ideas:
