Project Dashboard in CLM distributed environment

Hello,
I'm looking for suggestions or help on the topic of Project Dashboard. In my case I have all fronting applications (CLM) located on each own server: 1.jts 2.ccm 3. rqm 4. rrc
I created a Project. All applications are linked. Now I want to create a Project Dashboard and expect it'll be visible from all servers.
My question: Where should I create this Dashboard? I mean where Dashboard should be located: on jts , ccm or ??
Thanks.

Hi Eliya,

This is a good question.
Given our current CLM architecture, the recommended solution is (B).

Work-arounds for 3.0.1

(A) Create a shared personal dashboard on the JTS and name it "Project XYZ".

Drawbacks:

* No process permission support
=> No fine-grained access control for users based on role
=> Personal dashboards can be either shared with everyone or no one

* No dashboard project / team support
=> Dashboard modifications can only be made by the owner of the dashboard
=> Work-around is to create a shared user profile that is used by team members to make modifications

* Poor discoverability
=> Personal dashboards are not available in the home menu or component menu for users other than the owner
=> Personal dashboards can be accessed via a direct link (e.g. Bookmarks viewlet) or
searched for using the All Personal Dashboards page (on the JTS)

(B) Create a CCM project level dashboard

Recommended approach
e.g. CLM dashboard

Solution Post-3.0.1

Now that we have Lifecycle Projects (in the JTS), we should add support for Life Cycle Project dashboards.

Each application has its own set of dashboard viewlets, where CCM has the largest set. In the example sample application we have setup various tabs in the ccm dashboard - Overview, Planning, Development, Requirements and Testing. we use different viewlets in the rm and qm dashboards to better suit the role using that application.

I would suggest starting with ccm first.

Well thanks for reply ... but my point was: we would you suggest ( or it's recommended by 'process' ) to create Project Dashboard in distributed environment ( in case it's feasible )?

I agree with other comment that each of application has dashboard. It's an instrument panel and very common.
