Why is the ranking column not being populated in the Ranked List plan view?

We have the Priority column listed as the Ranking Attribute and we're using the Scrum template. When I view a Sprint plan using the Ranked List view mode the Rank column just has ' ---'. What is the trigger in the plan view that populates the Rank column? I tried moving the work items around but that didn't change anything.
Customer is on RTC 3.0.1.2. |

The --- is a long as there is no ranking. Try to move one WI before an other. The one you move before will get a Rank number
PS: you know that the ranking mixed with the PRIORITY. The priority will change automaticaly if you rank a Workitem medium over a high one erwin Michael Walker selected this answer as the correct answer
