Hi,

upgrade instruction for 2.0.0.2 http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=3499&uid=swg24026506 insists on

I haven't found any problems connecting with a 2.0.0.1 client to a 2.0.0.2 server so far. Does anyone know the exact functionality which do not work in this scenario.

How save is it to use the new client against an old server version?

New client to old server will likely be fine, but the other way around will definitely cause problems with creating new projects. There are minimal differences (as you might expect from a service release), but it's safest to keep them paired whenever possible.
