Jazz Server: Database Status UNAVAILABLE
Hi,
I am new to Jazz technology. I have installed Jazz Server on Red Jad Enterprise Linux 4 with default database DERBY and Tomcat server and tested the links to localhost links with ports 9080 and 9443 as shown in setup guide. Both of these links fine with database status as AVAILABLE. Then we installed WAS 6.1 with the IBM Java SDK 1.5 SR5 and configured WAS for Jazz Server. Upon testing the link https://localhost:9443/jazz/admin, we saw the Database Status as UNAVAILABLE. So then we installed and configured DB2 V9.1 for Jazz Server, but we got the same problem from the same URL. I also verified that "repotools -createTables" command did create tables because I saw that there are 311 of 311 total tables displayed in Control center for JAZZ database. Please help me in resolving this issue ASAP. I have attached the image for clear understanding of the problem.

I don't see any attachments to the message. Database unavailable means the
Jazz server cannot contact the database. Can you please check if WAS points to the correct teamserver.properties. SInce we are having problem with file, I am appending the actual text which was loaded for Jazz Web Admin UI url link. Also I tried your url to check DB connection and it did not work. The page was never loaded and it just hung there at "Loading..." screen. Please note that I am getting "Repository is Not Available" message for the Jazz Web Admin UI url link as shown below. The database state service checks if the Jazz server can connect to the
database. From the errors it looks like WAS is not configured to use the correct database. teamserver.properties maintains the location of the database.
