How to create / add a checklist to a EWM work item (task)?

Mark K. (111) | asked May 15 '23, 10:05 a.m.

 Dear community,

we are using EWM to create a task for each review, were the reviewer give their approval after performing the review (of requirements e.g.).

Now we would like to add the review checklist with check boxes - that participants of the review can check each item from the list, instead using an Excel file which is stored in CM-tool.

Is this possible and if yes, can anyone explain how to do this?
Are there differences when using Eclipse client or web version of EWM?

One idea was already to use the "add verification" under Approvals section to add each questions - storing that as a template. But depending on the user / amount of questions, this will get a mess...

Thank you very much in advance.

The Idea how work items work in EWM is, someone has configured how a work item should look like and what attributes does it have. This is configured in the process and would be quite stable.

There is no real mechanism to create tables based on random data and be able to have a checkbox for multiple users.

EWM implements a code review feature that allows to perform code reviews with multiple users and allows to accept or reject code changes, which allows to prevent code delivery until the review is accepted.

EWM has an older approval/review/verification feature that allows to create a code review and allows to add reviewers. This allows to have approvals for each reviewer that they can accept or reject and this can also control code delivery.

You could have some kind of attribute that contains all the changes that the work item is related to as text and the reviewer accepts when all are available and work.

The Wiki type attribute allows to write text in form of a table.

This is all I can say based on your question at the moment.
