whether safe program board is under permission control?

Hi Someone who may concern,

     We are wondering whether safe program board is under permission control?
     We noticed that this feature is shared with all users, i.e. if user 1 change it, user 2 can overwrite changes of user 1. So if there is no permission control, i.e. anyone can change it, we have concern that the program board we configured to show dependency on the project level maybe changed by users unexpectedly.
      And we search keyword " program board" in permission section, but we can not find anything. so we are wondering whether safe program board feature is under permission control?

Hi Jane,


there is no separate permission for Program Board. The "Save Plan/Modify Plan" permission restricts modifications to the Program Board. With the current implementation, only one single shared Program Board per Project Area can be exist. There will be improvements coming with version 7.0.1: https://jazz.net/pub/new-noteworthy/ewm/7.0.1/M2/index.html#24
