Finding Glossary Terms DOORS NG
Hi,
I have a spreadsheet containing about 1650 acronyms and definitions
I also have a DOORS NG module that I created containing around 2600 requirements
I would like to somehow import the spreadsheet into DOORS NG as reference terms and then associate all definiitons and acronyms in the module to these terms
Is there a way to do this efficiently without having to do this manually 1 by 1?

Hi Nihal,
You need to create an artifact of base type Text and check the option to 'Use artifacts of this type as glossary terms'
Then you need to add a column to your spreadsheet called Artifact Type and enter the name of your artifact type (e.g. Glossary Term) for each of the rows.
Then import the spreadsheet using the spreadsheet import utility.
You will not be able to automatically create links between the instances of the word appearing in your requirements and the imported term definition artifacts.
This can only be done by editing a requirement, selecting the word and then right-clicking and choosing 'Look up term'.
