Keystroke logger

Ed Schrader (1115) | asked Aug 24 '18, 2:37 p.m.

Does RQM support any kind of keystroke logging for an external Device Under Test?

Basically I would like the ability to adhoc the Device Under Test and capture any keypresses (or touch screen presses).

Version = 6.0.3

Hi Ed,

Unfortunately, no.  However, check out the RQM integration with Rational Functional Tester (see https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/c_rft_adapter.html) and Selenium (see https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/t_ovw_integselen.html).  Both tools support automated UI testing including screen recording (for example, see https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/t_using_amt.html).
