Dashboard read only permission

I am using RTC 1.0.1.1.

I need to create a new customized dashboard.

But the Create Dashboard option has read only permission.

How can I revoke this read only permission?

Regards
Julian

Hi Julian

Check you are not using Express-C, or Express - that has limited ability to create extra dashboards.

Assuming you are not using Express-C or Express, then you need to check what role you have on the project, and what permissions are in that role. If you are using Eclipse, find your name in Team Organisation View, click on the Team Area that matches the area you atre working in. In the team area, look at your role(s) against your name.

Then, go to the Team Artifact view, right-button on the project and select Open. This should open up the project. Look at the Process Configuration tab and open up the Team Configuration->Permissions tab. There is a section in there called Create a team dashboard you need to check. You will need to then save the process before this will take effect.

Sorry - this took a lot longer to type than to do - but hopefully you will be able to create your dashboards.

Thanks Anthony.

I have fixed this issue. One thing I want to add,

After changing settings in Process Configuration tab, It didn't fix.

I have changed the same settings under "Project Configuration" too then it worked fine.

Thanks for your timely help.

Glad you got it working - sorry about forgetting the Project Config setting.
