How can I make the widget running without showing it on the screen?

  Hello team,

Currently, I have implemented the widget for validate information field of a artifact on DNG,
The problem I am facing now that is my validation won't work when the widget is not shown on the screen (the mini dash board is not pinned on the screen).
How can I get my widget running without showing it on the screen?

I am pretty sure you can not (but not sure enough to make this an answer). I would suggest to open an enhancement request to be able to have ways to extend the validation in Doors Next. I have heard from customers that wanted to call external tools etc. and the conclusion was that we can not do it today.

The more enhancement requests we get the more likely it is going to be implemented.
