Track changes to artifacts...
One answer
Hello Vijay,
RQM 2.0 adds "Snapshot" support to some artifacts. This means you can save your progress at any point in the life of an artifact and then return to that same state at a later time. Just search for "snapshot" in the online help for RQM to learn more.
If you are looking for a "diff" capability, either built into an audit trail or through the snapshot, then you'll be out of luck since RQM does not yet have that capability. You'd have to do it manually by snapshoting your artifacts and opening both the current and snapshot to compare differences. If that is not adequate, please submit an enhancement request.
Regards,
John

Hi,
How can we track changes to an artifact (TP/TC/TS)? The scenario is as simple as this - test manager makes changes to a TP summary; the test lead should be able to know the changes made to it (without the need to create versions of the artifact)

Vijay
