How to edit Multiple Artifacts in DOORS Next with a filter applied

Ben Sharples (813360) | asked May 22 '15, 6:11 a.m.
Hi,

How do you edit multiple DOORS Next artifcats when a filter is applied within a module. For some reason when I have any filter applied in a DOORS Next Module whilst I can select multiple objects the pencil drop-down seems to be disabled. (basically when I clcik on it nothing happens)

If I have no filters applied then I can select objects and the pencil drop-down works fine.

Is this a known limitation? (I am using DOORS NG v4.0.6)

Hi,
Editing multiple artifacts is not supported in DNG.
You can check this link.

Hi Ben,

can you describe what you want to do?
In my DNG I can edit the attributes of several artifacts in one step - independent of applied filters. Not possible is to promote or demote when artifacts are filtered (but this makes somehow sense).

The pasted link https://jazz.net/forum/questions/176548/can-we-edit-multiple-artifacts-in-dng-in-one-go refers to changing the format. But this is impossible with or without filters (in my version).

I am using 5.0.2.

Kind regards
Christian
