Is there an updated version of the technical tip https://jazz.net/library/article/457 for version 4 of RTC ?
Is this functionality still available ?

I believe it's still available in version 4.x. The information is included in the InfoCenter for version 4.0.x as well.

Can you confirm that when this is configured, the group membership can be managed directly by checking group names in the user's profile (and not by editing the group file on the server !) ?

I don't have an environment to test to confirm this, but if I am not mistaken, I do not think group membership can be managed by checking group names in the user's profile. Instead, it's managed by the group file on the server.
