Getting error while bluepages ldap configuration for WAS 8.5

When i try to make changes to Federated repositories entity types to LDAP object classes mapping for Group and Person entity, i get an error
CWWIM5054E Search base is not valid: [ou=ibmgroups,o=ibm.com]
however the same search base is working for WAS 8.0.
Can anyone help, please?

I had the same issue. I resolved it by adding the repository to the realm first, then going back to complete the repository configuration. Directly on the Global security > Federated repositories page, select "Add repositories". Be sure to use "o=ibm.com" as the Unique distinguished name of the base. Then save and restart the server. After logging back on, your Search base entry should be valid.
