State group modification

Murat Isleyen (191620) | asked Jul 03 '14, 5:21 a.m.
In our environment we are planning to implement Kanban process for some teams. Users should modify work items on web client.

For Kanban view, I created some extra columns by adding new state groups to be seen on web client. However this also changes other's plan view. Extra Kanban states (not only Open-In Progress-Closed) will also appear and there will no a proper view for all types of work items.

All teams are members of one project area, so I do not want to add another project area. Is there any way to perform such this senario?

States and state groups are defined in a project area. This means, it is common for all work items in a project area, for all teams.

In RTC V5, you can select what columns will be shown on a kanban view.

So others teams can select (and show) only the columns that correspond to their workflow.

And your team can select the columns corresponding to your workflow.
