Unable to mark a step as N/A or Remove. Impactful as we’re scripting for the final functionality of the system but it’s being delivered in waves.  This means that we may not need to execute all steps.  For those steps marked as N/A, they should not be included when determining the overall status of the script execution
b. Added a question on the Jazz forum – you can changed the label of any of the status’s (ie change Deferred to N/A).  But it will still include them in the overall calculation of status.  For instance, if there are 4 steps and 3 are passed and 1 is Not Available, the overall status of the script would be N/A

Yes, unfortunately that is how it works. that is renaming a status of existing script execution won't change the internal overall calculation of status.

See the discussion in the below forum post and Paul's comments.

You can want to raise a request for enhancement(RFE) in the RFE community:

https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=changeRequestLanding

(you will need an IBM ID to submit a RFE and registration is free)
