How to do authentication for reports when REST URIs are used

Hello,

I am using Jazz REST URIs (which return XML) as data source and use XML data source drivers which are shipped with BIRT designer. During execution (reports on JTS) on tomcat+derby, there is authentication failure for REST URI calls. As a result I am not able to view any BIRT reports. Is it possible to authenticate and GET data from Jazz Team Server in a single URI call? Or are there alternate methods to solve this problem?
