Hi team,

We wanted to provide folder level access control in RRC with same set of artifact type at different folder. For eg.

Folder A features will not be able to modify by team B, lly team A will not be able to modify features of Folder B

http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m3/index.jsp?re=1&topic=/com.ibm.rational.rrm.help.doc/topics/c_permissions.html&scope=null - provides artifact level, but i am looking for specifically folder level. Please let me know is it possible in RRC4.0.3 ?

Regards,
Smitha

Yes in V4.0.3 you can control permissions to create / update / delete at the folder level using team area permissions (as well as at the artifact level, or in  combination of both folder and artifact levels).

Hi Daniel

Basically when a Team Area is assigned to the Folder the members who are a part of that Team Area and based or the Role permission the users would be able to Read/Write in to the folder.

Is it possible to assign permission at the folder level without going through the Team Area assignment

Regards

You assign the permissions via the team area.
