All,

I need to migrate an existing CLM instance hosted on a infrastructure to a different service provider. The version(4.0.2) is going to remain the same as well as the application/database server. The only limitation I have is access to transfer databases to maintain keep data history.

Are they any tools, best practices or processes to do a full migration at application level?

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Regards,
Naweed

Hi,

this is possible but not trivial because it likely would require a change to the public URI to do that. If you go to a different service provider, they have a different domain and since the domain is part of the public URI that needs to change. https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/topic/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/c_redeploy_server.html describes the matter. You need to get in contact to do that, because you require a key to do the change. Please be aware that it is not something you should do often.
