Build error...suggested steps.

Sterling Ferguson-II (1.6k13288273) | asked Apr 10 '13, 10:18 a.m.
I am looking at some build widgets and have seen the following error. Any suggest steps to do next. One of the feeds shows the status of the build definition results, so I am not sure why this one shows this error. I don't really see anything in the F12 menu, or maybe I am looking in the wrong area.

CRRDV5005E The build results cannot be displayed because the build definition status records could not be retrieved from the server. The server encountered an unexpected error that prevented the build definition status records from being retrieved. For more details about this issue, open the JavaScript console of your browser by pressing F12, refresh the widget, and check the JavaScript console for any resulting errors.

Hello,

have you tried what the error message suggested?
In IE, hit F12 to open the Developer Tools, and refresh the page.
In Developer Tools, go to Script->Console and check if any error is written there.

Hi Sterling.

You may also want to check the server logs (<server-install-dir>/server/logs/ccm.log, etc.) for any errors that correlate with the error you're seeing.
