How to run a query across project Areas ?

 Hi, 

We are trying to implement RTC in a big organization, wherein I have created multiple project areas and each project area has different work item types. Many a times there is a scenario in which a user is assigned with multiple workitems across multiple projects.

In such a case, is it feasible for a user to see all the task assigned to him in his personal dashboard. Also is it possible to write other queries across multiple project areas with different parameters and show the result on a personal dashboard.

you will need to create a Report.. a Query is isolated to a project.
