Issues connecting to RRC Repository. (CRRRC2295E)

Karl Gleeson (122) | asked Nov 14 '12, 11:33 a.m.
Issue : We can no longer it seems connect to the RRC repository (see below message) It was working fine up until this morning when Server was rebooted, Services all start up fine, but you get the below issue when you try to connect to RRC Repository. We are using Tomcat 2.2 and Java 1.6.0.7, all was working fine up until this reboot. Has anyone come accross this before or something similar and can perhaps help ?

"CRRRC2295E The Repository connection failed for <Repository Name>"

Below is an extract from the rdm.log file, this message just seems to be on a loop and is relating to JFS it seems

2012-11-14 13:53:01,019 [         http-9445-Processor25] [1528060692] ERROR com.ibm.rdm.fronting.server.util.ConfigImpl         - The JFS root services document is not available.

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: OAuthProviderProperties must not be null

Whos Effected ? : All users seem to be effected, no one it seems can connect to the repository

Version : RRC 2.0.0.4

Any help appreciated, Thanks in advance.

JAZZ DEVELOPER

Hello, are you able to reach the server through web?
e.g. https://<server:port>/jazz/admin

What if you re try to restart the server again?

Maybe something related to license? is there a repository license active?

JAZZ DEVELOPER

Hello Karl,

Since the error says the root services document is not available, try to access the URL directly from the web.

Try /jazz/rootservices for jazz.

And try /rdm/rootservices for RRC.

An XML format document should return in the browser.

Also is there anything in the jazz log that corresponds to the error from the rrc log?
