How to upload Rhapsody project into Design Managment Server?

Jaegon Yoo (9611314) | asked Nov 05 '12, 4:30 a.m.

Dear

I've installed Rhapsody Design Manager Client Extension on Rhapsody 8.0 Windows7 64bit.

I created a project area on design manager and set it to 'Actively managed with Design Manager' and selected domain 'Rhapsody UML domain' for my project area.

I created a model project on RHP developer client and I clicked menu 'Tools > Design Manger > Move to Design Manager' , nothing happens.

No popup window or any other window poped up.

When I click 'Tools > Design Manager > Settings', it doesn't work either.

How can I share my model project in Design Manager project area which is 'Actively managed with design server'?

Any comment is highly appreciated.

Hi Jaeagon,
When you selected "Tools>Design Manager>Move to Design Manager, did you see a window asking you for the server and project area where you wanted to move your model? We have an enhancement request for a status message indicating that the model has been moved. When you go to your project area on your Design Manager server, do you see the model? Also: here is a topic in our Rhapsody info center with a video that shows how to move a model. Let me know if I can give you any additional help.

Hi Jaeagon,
I fully agree with Thomas.
From developers point of view, it seems that the RP_RDM_CLIENT_DLL.dll failed to load.
Can you please verify you've this dll in the same folder as your rhapsody.exe file.

Dear David,
Rhapsody.exe and RP_RDM_CLIENT_DLL.dll in in same directory.
I think whatever menu I select, no popup window is open.
So I believe some problem happens in .dll.
How can I debug it?
Any idea?
