Recreate local JazzAdmin user after LDAP

Matt Neth (1122) | asked Oct 17 '12, 12:12 p.m.
Is it possible to re-enable the local jazzadmin user after converting to LDAP? We won't be able to recreate the jazzadmin user inside of ActiveDirectory. repootools-jts -syncUsers doesn't seem to be able to access the local jts server since there is no jazzadmin user and we're trying to avoid having to specify another user's credentials for the command.

If you're running RTC on WAS you can switch your WAS config from LDAP to Federated Realm so that WAS can authenticate against both your LDAP instance and users defined locally in WAS.

If you're using Tomcat you're out of luck - you will need to add one of your LDAP users to the JazzAdmin group and then run the command using their credentials. What's preventing you from creating a "system" account in LDAP that you can run the command under?
