I have set the filters Manually in Adavance query mode of Jazz Reporting Service  Eg: '$Project_Area$' but in the report layout Wen viewed there is a red astrick mark to the filter it means it is a mandatory filter but we want the filters to be optional, How it is possible to achieve? or any work around ?

Could you please help related to above query  and it is critical to our Project usually complex JRS reports are build by Advance query level that time we need many filters and users expect it to be optional not mandatory?
