RQM File Size Limit

In RQM, we have option to attach any kind of artifacts (script files, images, documents, etc..) along with the test cases and test scripts.

Does RQM have any file size restrictions on these attachments?

Is there any limitations to the number of files that can be attached?

If there are any limitations, does the RQM administrator have access to modify these size limitations?

Hi Bharat,
you can set it in the RQM admin page -> Configuration -> Advance Properties.

Max file upload size (kb)  default 512k
 - > Maximum file size for multipart form upload in kilobytes.
Maximum Attachment Size (MB)  default 50M
 - > The Work Item service enforces a maximum size for Work Item attachments. This property specifies the maximum size of attachments in MB.

Hi Hao,

I tried with above options. But still i can upload attachement in Test Case, Test Script with size of > 50 MB. I am not sure using above options in Advanced Properties if we can manage the size limit of attachment. I guess above options are for RTC. Can you please let me know if we upload any attachment in Test Case, Test Plan, Test scrpts then is there any way to control the size of this attachment or we can upload attachment in GB also?

Hi Bharat,
I can upload attachment over 50M

and if you access https://server:9443/ccm/admin#action=com.ibm.team.repository.admin.configureAdvanced
and https://server:9443/qm/admin#action=com.ibm.team.repository.admin.configureAdvanced
you can find the
Maximum Attachment Size (MB) doesn't share the same value, so I think the setting is not for RTC.
