What is the best way to convert Test Scripts to Test Cases and also move artifacts between Project Areas

Hi,

We have several test cases that are more high-level and contain up to 15 manual test scripts that we'd like to break out into individual test cases with their own manual scripts.  Is there a way to easily do this without having to manually create all these new Test Cases?

My concern is how we would then attach these existing test scripts to the new Test Cases and still preserve the history, and also be able to do this somewhat quickly without a huge manual effort.

And finally, would it be easy to move these artifacts to a new Project Area in the same repository if we decided to separate it?

Hope that made sense :)

Thanks,

Unfortunately, you cannot decompose/split test resources, including test cases.  However, you can reuse the existing test scripts to maintain their history.

You can use the RQM Copy Utility to copy resources between project areas/repositories of the same server version.
