Hi there,

We need to move our RRDI application server to our database server.
We already have RRDI v2.0  running on another server against the existing content store and data warehouse databases. Both the servers are running RHEL 5.x

We have not upgraded to CALM v4.0 yet so the data warehouse is still at v 3.0.x

I have shut down the existing RRDI and using the instructions, have installed WebSphere v8.0 and RRDI v2.0 on the database server.
I have started the setup wizard and run the server.config-linux.sh
I have successfully connected to port 10443 and run through the wizard, completing steps Configure Database Management System and Configure Content Store Database without error.
On the step Configure Data Warehouse  I fill out all the fields to the best of my knowledge and click Validate whereupon I receive the following error:

CRRRA0131E: An error happened when validating the database. 'com.ibm.rational.rrdi.setup.db.common.RRDIDBException: '.

There is nothing of interest in any of the logs in /opt/IBM/RRDI/setup/tool/JazzTeamServer/server/logs but the tomcat log contains the following:

I cannot see anything that I can begin to debug with in there and am stuck as result.

Does anyone have any suggestion on how I should proceed?

Are you trying to connect to the same (same as your existing RRDI 2.0) DW db from your new RRDI 2.0 installation? If so, then try to locate the connection parameters to the DB.  perhaps this ( //localhost:50000/RIDW ) is not the correct location of your existing DW db.

Post a screenshot of your setup page. What does it suggest as the default connection parameter to located the RIDW.  Does it look something like this:  //localhost:50000/RIDW:user=user1;password={password};
