RRDI 5.0.2 on Linux, setup wizard forces RPTUSER to lower case, connection fails

Elyse Grasso (622) | asked Jan 12 '15, 7:18 p.m.
While setting up for RRDI installation on Linux (DB2 backend) I created RPTUSER for the reporting user as per several places in the  the preinstall instructions.

When I type in that value on https://localhost:10443/rrdi/setup?sc=0#/steps3 in step 2 Reporting user, the value is displayed in lower case, and the validation fails because the userid (rptuser) used does not exist anywhere.

I can create a rptuser userid (or change the UID in passwd and ldap), if this is a case of docs that are overly Windows-oriented, but there are a bunch of places in CLM that also know about the RPTUSER value. This is going to be a pain to clean up. It is not clear from the documentation where I would make the changes for the CLM modules.
