How does one use IBM HTTP and WAS together so users nolonger have to type in port to access RTC?

Please excuse me if this has been answered before but with the vast amount of information here I am having a hard time finding this out.

Is there a way to utilize IBM HTTP server with WAS so that my EU's nolonger have to specify the port number when trying to access RTC?

example:

https://rtcccm.server.com = https://rtcserver.server.com:9443/ccm

I am new to this so if there is a decent set of documented steps I would be greatly appreciative.

Regards,

Karl

Check out the article on Hiding port numbers from the public server URI.  That should make it all clear.

Dan, Thank you sir.... Exactly what I was looking for. Are you heading to Reno In November?

I MIGHT be there. If I am not there, I am sure that some of my Jumpstart team members will be there. Make sure to look for them.

change the WAS config to be only port 443, then https defaults to 443..
