I just downloaded rational requirement composer and i tried to run it with the user name as ADMIN and password as ADMIN but i couldnt access it . It is giving error message as invalid username or password

It sounds like you did not go through setup.  Once you install the application, you will then need to go through the application setup for both rm (RQM) and for the JTS.  Refer to the interactive installation guide in the Infocenter for the details on how to do this.
