Getting Error 2343, specified path is empty when installing Rational Rhapsody Design Manager Client Extension

A client is trying to install DM 3.0 on vista. They have managed to install the server components , the rhapsody engine, etc. However, when they try to install the "Rational Rhapsody Design Manager Client Extension" they get the following error:

Error 2343. Specified path is empty.



What is the cause of this issue and what can we advice the client on how to get past the error.

Hi,

What's the Rhapsody version they are using.
What's the timing they got the error? Did they install the client extension and DM server in the same environment?
Any other messages/log info coming from Installation Manager?
