Hello,

Can we have access restrictions for a user to out of the box reports available in RQM through permissions/process advisors?

Hi Ranjith
The Reporting permissions available
1. Deploy Report
2. Deploy Reposrt Resources
3. Display Report
4. Manage Report Folder
5. Archive Report

Display Report: The Display Report operation is performed when a request is made to render a report. This may happen when viewing a report in the rich client or the web UI, and also occurs when reports are included in other contexts (for example, the Dashboard).

however this data is based on RQM 4.0 release. I can check for 301x as well

Yes I do see the same permissions available in RQM v301x.

Hello Pramod,

Thanks for your reply.

I have created a role in RQM 4.0 and have not checked any of the report options mentioned above, still a user assigned to the role is able to run shared reports.

So will the permissions listed above be useful for restricting a user to access out of the box reports?

It appears to be a defect that the lack of the "Display Report" permission does not prevent the user from running a report.  I created a workitem for this.

Hello Mark,

Thanks for the updates. It would be really helpful if you can  add me as a subscriber to the workitem or post the WI number

Hi Ranjith,

The work item is here:

https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/217393

I was going to subscribe you but there are two users with your name and wasn't sure which is the correct one.

Mark
