How can a run DOORS WEB ACCESS IN SECURE (HTTPS) mode? What will the affect be on DOORS/RQM integration?

Hi,

We are currently running DWA (1.4.0.5) in http mode against RQM 3 and DOORS 9.3.

1) we can not make DWA running in https mode (regardless of RQM interface concerns): may you advice ?

we have already followed IBM Infocenter dwa installation guide without success. Seems to be a matter of configuring Tomcat server properly which is not explained in IBM documentation.

2) In case we are able to move to https, what will be the consequences with respect to DOORS / RQM interface (will it still work)

3) In case we are able to move to https, another concern with respect to DWA / RMQ integration. Because requirements URL are changed, does that mean we will not be able to relate already imported doors requirements in RQM to DOORS instances ?

Thanks

Gilles

You won't be able to change to DOORS server from http to https without using the server rename functionality.  The links that are stored in RQM have the path to the server in them and if that is changed the links will be broken.
