The new forum system is good and follows stackoverflow.com in terms of features.

However, I could not find out how to put a post properly. I tried to post an edit to my original question and wanted to add some XML data as part of the question. I tried using <pre></pre> as well as <code></code> to prevent the HTML renderer to render the particular section and show the XML as it is. But it is not working.

A simpler instruction (similar to that of stackoverflow.com) would help the participants in the forum.
