Hi,

While configuring Oracle as a back-end DB server for Jazz Based Applications do we need to install JTS server on Oracle DB Server.

For our topology we prefer to have Oracle DB Separate and Jazz on separate servers.

JTS Service will be running on Application server ..

what all services will be running on DB Server ?

Hi,

I am not sure if I understand the question.

If you install Rational Quality Manager you install the quality Managment application you also need a JTS, if there is none already. You can install them on separate servers or on one server. Make sure to read the topology examples http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0m1/topic/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/c_topology_overview.html and understand the implications of the Public URI.

Both applications need a database. Please refer to the help about Oracle setup.
