Test Case Execution Record Name is not modified

Robert Garrill (111) | asked Feb 21 '12, 5:41 p.m.
When a test case name that has previsly been run is modified, the test case execution record name is not modified accordingly. This causes confusion as the test execution name and test case name are different. Is this expected / as designed or is there a way to modify the test execution result name to match the new test case name?
The impact severity is reduced by the test case name also being shown on most of the test execution reult pages however.

It is by design. However, the test execution record name can be changed manually to match the new test case name from the "View Test Execution Records" screen. Simply select the appropriate Execution Record and click the edit icon.
