Can we give the resource unlock permission to the project?

To unlock a resource, select it and right-click; in the menu, click Team > Unlock. A resource can be unlocked by the user who locked the resource or by a member of the JazzAdmins repository group.

The project team wants to have a couple of super users who will be able to unlock files when the file owner is on vacation. But from the above, only users belong to JazzAdmins can do that. Normally we only put RTC administrators in JazzAdmins group.

What you suggest if we want to give resource unlock permission to the project team?

Thanks

In the current RTC 4.0 milestone, permission to remove other user's locks is controlled by the Source_Control -> Save_Stream -> Modify -> Stream -> Locking permissions.

I'm not sure when those permissions were added, but you can check to see if they are available in your project area.
