Does QM Command line adapter have version dependencies ?

Looking at upgrading to 3.0.1. Customers have worries about a couple dozen test machines with their command line adapter. I haven't found any posts or statements in the InfoCenters saying one way or another. Comparing the listings of the 2.0 and 3.0 zip files doesn't say much. There is the 1 jar ( com.ibm.integration.client ) but based on size wouldn't suggest that there is much other API code there (i.e. like the RTC api might be for an RTC/CCM tool).

I can't say 100% on version dependencies (ie. a v2 CLA interacting with v3 RQM) but you will want to update your test systems to the v3 CLA. If anything, v3 CLA supports additional functions such as the Execution Variables.

Look here for information on the CLA: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0m1/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/t_cmd_line_execution.html
